Schools buy the Student Plan Yearly as seats in Apple School Manager and assign them with their device management. Students need no accounts.
For teachers and schoolsHow billing works
Some lessons are free. Others are unlocked by a purchase made through Apple's App Store with your Apple Account.
The Student Plan is a subscription that unlocks all current courses while it is active. It is offered by the month or by the year and is charged to your Apple Account for each period at the price shown at the time of purchase. It renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage, switch or cancel it at any time in your Apple Account settings; cancelling takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.
Schools and other organizations can buy Student Plan seats through Apple School Manager or Apple Business and assign them to their devices or members. A seat unlocks all current courses while the organization keeps it assigned; the organization buys, assigns and removes seats with Apple, not with us.
Lifelong Learner, a single payment that unlocked all current courses, is no longer offered to new customers. If you bought it, it continues to unlock all current courses for as long as the app is offered, and you can restore it at any time with the same Apple Account.
Course packs bought in earlier versions of the app continue to unlock the course they were bought for.
Prices can change, but a change never affects a period you have already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
Restoring purchases
Purchases belong to your Apple Account. On a new device, tap the player at the end of the app's menu, then Grown-ups (a grown-up check comes first), and choose Restore Purchases.
